Description

Come to our trip to discover the beautiful city of Zaragoza and the Fiesta del Pilar festival

Where is Zaragoza?

Zaragoza is the capital city of the autonomous community of Aragón and it is the fifth biggest city in Spain. Zaragoza used to be its own kingdom. This means that it’s home to lots of grand monuments, palaces and houses such as the Moorish Aljafería Palace which we are going to visit. The best way to discover Zaragoza’s monuments is to stroll through its streets. You will feel all the wealth of its 2,000 years of history.

Come with us to enjoy one of the most famous festivals in Spain, the “Fiesta del Pilar”! We will visit the city and its famous sights with a local professional guide, included the “Basilica del Pilar” and the Palace of Aljafeira. We are going to have a sangria party as well and wander around in the beautiful streets of Zaragoza.

The Fiestas del Pilar is an annual festival celebrated in honor of the patron saint of the city, the Virgen del Pilar (Our Lady of the Pillar). The week long festival takes places every year, usually, beginning the weekend of or before 12 October, and lasts until the following Sunday.
